A New Generation of High-Performance Cleaning Solvents

Opteon™ SF80 is a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) based specialty fluid designed to meet the needs of the industrial cleaning market. It is a blend of proprietary fluorinated fluids and trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) with azeotrope-like properties.

With high solvency and low surface tension, Opteon™ SF80 powerfully cleans a range of contaminants in diverse applications, including:

• Oil and grease removal
• Precision cleaning
• High solvency defluxing
• Silicone removal
• Vapor degreasing
• Cold cleaning

Opteon™ SF80 is safe and non-flammable. It is an environmentally sustainable fluid that has a negligible ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a low global warming potential (GWP) of <2.5. It also contains no fluorinated greenhouse gases.¹

• Fast drying: With an optimum boiling point (47 °C/117 °F), cleaned parts can be immediately processed and used
